I-2.2.To develop relationships of mutual trust and create partnerships with the families we serve.
This is meaningful to me because I know the importance of healthy relationship between families and providers. I am always trying to bridge the gap and to create balanced between working relationships with all my families.
I-2.3. To receive all family members and encourages them to participate in the program.
These two go hand and hand with each other, I am starting to incorporate new events that will bring the family member into our center. I believe with family’s involvement we can have a wonderful successful program.
I-1.3. To recognize and respect the unique qualities, abilities, and potential of each child.
I base my program on this ideal, I want every child to have the ability to learn in an open environment that will nurture there individual ways of learning.
At this moment in my career the most rewarding are the trusting relationships I have with children and their families. One of my previous students asked me other day to come to her house and see her Christmas tree, or like when I ran into a parent at a local restaurant and she said her daughter still says I am her favorite teacher. Relationships are so important in early childhood.
