Every day I am supported, I have a wonderful staff, and without them, I would be lost. My assistant director is amazing she is my right hand and main supporter; she can run the center without me, even if she thinks she can’t. But I think can’t run it without her.
It is nice to have someone in your corner, someone that you can bounce things off of and someone who has a good opinion. Also, most of my teachers have been with me for over five years. So, they know me and the center very well, they are able to keep our mission, to educate children.
It would be difficult if these supportive people were no longer here, because I would have to establish the relationships and find comfort with new people. It’s hard to get to the place where you trust people and people trust you that would be my biggest challenge.
Hi! Naquetta,
ReplyDeleteThat is so wonderful to be in a position of administration and have your director support. That really doesn't happen in most cases, count youself blessed. I wish I had such support from my staff and supervisor, I'm not complaining...but...it would be nice. It is a constant struggle everyday. I just have to remind myself I'm there for the children.
Thanks for sharing
Lisa
Naquetta,
ReplyDeleteAfter reading you support post I wanted to come and work for you. I think it was truly wonderful how well you spoke of yor staff. Some employers never complement their employee's
Reading your post actually made me feel good just knowing there are people who appreciate what others do.
Naquetta,
ReplyDeleteI am very appreciative of my onsite supervisor, she too is an amazing woman and genuine about the children in our care. It's great to be able to bounce ideas off of her and receive her feedback as to how I can improve things in my classroom without telling me what to do exactly.
Naquetta,
ReplyDeleteIt is truly a blessing to have such a wonderful overall support system at the job. I am sure the family and community enjoy that there is a positive environment where their children can attend.Overall, it seems your staff genuinely love what they do. I would love to have been part of a team like yours. Keep up the great work.
Naquetta,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your post this week on your supportive staff. I feel exactly like you do about my staff. We are a small and close center, and I don't know what I would do without my wonderful and dedicated Lead teacher and center clerk, my whole center. And just like you I feel my teacher in charge could run the center without me, and she has on a few occasions. We have worked together for seven years, and I still remember the first day she walked into the previous center we worked in, and I was the teacher in charge then and the one who was assigned to train her for our agency. Little did I know then that more than seven years later we would still be working together, and she would be my right hand. I am truly blessed to have a such a wonderful support system both at home and at work. Great job! You really reminded me how blessed I truly am, thank-you.
